# Mapping zone management

The mapping section manages the behavior of the pickup and palletizing station. It is divided into 4 zones, each of which includes the following sections:

Pick, with all signals involved in the product pickup process.
Pack, with all signals involved during the product placement process on the pallet.

The control logic of the 4 possible zones is independent of the selected zone. PLC programming must adapt the communication signals involved according to the zone value of the selected recipe.

Warning

It is not possible to combine signals from different zones (e.g., Pick 1 – Pack 3).

The zone is selected in the field associated with the palletizing station (Pack) node. All recipes that use that node will use the same selected zone.
