Product Node
#
Description
This node represents the products to be palletized.
#
Types
Two types of products are defined in Wepall.
#
Box 📦
It represents any element with regular cubic dimensions, and without having the physical possibility that in the same layer, two products have overlapping (Overlap).
Examples
Standard boxes, wrap around boxes, shrink-wrapped boxes, shrink-wrapped trays, are some examples of products covered by this option.
#
Bag 👝
It is an element that can present irregular dimensions, and that allows overlapping (Overlap) between several products in the same layer.

#
Assignment of variables
Depending on the type of this node, different variables will be assigned.
#
Variables
#
Name
User-defined name to identify the product to be palletized.
#
Type
#
Length
It represents the side that will be perpendicular to the brake of the product transport, also called Stopper, the unit of measurement is millimeters.
#
Width
Corresponds to the side of the product that will come into contact with the Stopper, in millimeters.
#
Weight ⚖️
Weight of the product in Kilograms.
#
Height ⛰️
Height of the bag/box to be palletized, in millimeters.
#
Overlap 🧱
Percentage of overlap allowed between products of type
#
Stopper Offset
Clearance between the gripper and the stopper at the pick point. This is the distance that the product will protrude with respect to the gripper. Indicated in millimeters. This value adjusts the reference left on the pallet.
For more information about the pick point, see node station, Pick Station.
An incorrect setting of this value can cause collisions with products already on the pallet. 💥
Changing this value does not modify the pick coordinates in any way.
#
Inverted Stopper Offset
Clearance between the gripper and the stopper at the inverted pick point. This is the distance that the product will protrude with respect to the gripper. Indicated in millimeters. This value adjusts the left reference on the pallet.
For more information about the pick point, see node station, Pick Station.
